less than a year old, landed in the
Shriner's Hospital in
critical condition after being severely burned in a vehicle fire. We live in a community where, when one family is suffering, we all chip-in and help in any way that we can. So I have listed some useful information about Kaj, his family, his story, and links that will help you learn more about him and how you may be able to help whether it be by donating your time or contributing financially.
There are so many events going on right now, and it has been less than a week since this horrible accident has occurred. So for you to land here, on this very page, might be because you scanned a cool shirt. But the mission behind that "QR code" or barcode you scanned, goes way beyond a cool idea on a fundraising t-shirt. It's deep, it's personal, it's a barcode that will help raise money for his treatment, raise awareness about the myth: That only happens to other people... This family is an ordinary family with great morals, amazing friends, beautiful children, and that myth... happened to them. This barcode you scanned was not by accident. What happened to 9 month old Kaj, that was an accident.
